Therapy is really about you, but here’s a little about me

About My Work

Lifelong curiosity is key to my work as a therapist, with five years of experience providing counseling support for individuals and families and over a decade as an educator. There is nothing I love more than learning about people and helping to provide space for them to express themselves authentically.

I hold so much respect for anyone seeking therapeutic support for themselves or a loved one. My own mental health journey inspired me to help others, so know that I have been where you are. I am so grateful someone was looking out for me and encouraging this kind of care when I needed it most. That support proved invaluable for me, which is why I am so passionate about working with individuals exploring therapy for the first time. Taking that first step is not always easy, but I firmly believe the effort and vulnerability you put into this work is rewarded with meaningful growth.

About Me

I love spending time with my husband and our four very spoiled cats. Traveling is my favorite and I never pass up the opportunity to explore new places and cultures.  When I’m home in Austin, I love to spend time outdoors, especially if it involves gardening or any activity in the water. I think random trivia is my superpower and I am a huge movie buff. Listening to music is my number one coping strategy. As a recovering non-athletic, artsy kid, I am trying my best to learn how to play pickleball. It’s going okay. I think bats are an underrated animal and I’m a big fan.
